Privacy Matters: Offline AI for Teachers
What happens when AI for education doesn't depend on the cloud?
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM EDT
New York City
Privacy-first AI in practice
Join us in New York for a practical look at privacy-first, offline AI for teachers. We will explore how local AI can support lesson planning, worksheets, assessment, feedback, classroom materials and everyday administrative work while keeping sensitive school and student data on the teacher's own device.
The session includes a live demonstration of TeacherAIssistant, followed by discussion about privacy, teacher agency, on-device AI and the future of AI in schools.
This is not a sales presentation. TeacherAIssistant is used as a working example to explore what local and offline AI can already do for educators. TeacherAIssistant is available as a public Windows beta until November 15, 2026.
Who it's for
Educators, school and district leaders, EdTech founders, AI builders, privacy-minded technologists and anyone interested in practical local AI for education.
Format
Short presentation + live demo + Q&A + informal networking.
